Wanna Know More about the Paintings?

Last week on Thursday saw some of Port Elizabeth's artists at ABYC taking in the atmosphere and painting from the club. Duncan Stewart did a particularly nice painting of Mike Robinson painting his boat, Free Spirit and I though you may like to see a photograph of Duncan painting Mike who was painting his boat - yea a bit like looking in a mirror with another mirror behind you!

Free Spirit

Another Port Elizabeth artist, Sue Hoppe, chose Rob Onvlee's J27 and the Police boat on the moorings as her subjects and sent this photograph of her canvas:

I find these paintings very interesting. Could the contact details of the artists, be included. There might be boat owners who would like to immortalise their pride and joy in oils or water colours
regards Derek

Hi, thanks for the interest. I will ask each of the artists in the group for a photo of their yachtclub paintings, and will post them on my art blog, along with their contact details, because each has a different style that may appeal to different people. Give me a bit of time to get it sorted out, and I will let Alan know when it is up and running.
