www.abyc.org.za: The sailing calendar has been finalised. My thanks to all who had input, pointed out potential clashes and supported me.

The significant changes to the ABYC Sailing Calendar are as follows:

• Each Sailing discipline has their own dedicated regular weekend slot - i.e Short Distance racing (1st weekend of the month), Medium Distance (2nd Weekend of the month), Cruising (3rd Weekend of the month) and Dinghies (4th Weekend of the month)
• The short distance racing will feature longer courses for the Class 2 and 3 yachts who will share a common start and finish with Class 1.
• A few fun events are planned like The Amazing Fear Factor Race, a twist on the Crew's and Ladies Race along with two Noordhoek and Cape St. Francis Races.
• Algoa Bay Week is now FOUR Days long and only includes ONE working day (a Friday)
