The
Algoa Bay Yacht Club Sailing Academy is offering two 5 day learn to sail courses this coming school holidays.

The Algoa Bay Yacht Club Sailing Academy has been acknowledged as an example of best practice worldwide by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) which is the controlling body of sailing. All sail training will take place within a supervised and controlled environment. The 5 day course will equip the sailor with the knowledge to rig, launch, sail a set course, retrieve and de-rig a dinghy. Internationally recognised certificates of competency will be presented at the end of each course. The target group for this sailing course is male and female children between the ages of nine (9) and thirteen (13) and it is recommended that they they exhibit some form of water competency.

• Dates: 4th to 8th December and 11th to 15th December.
• Daily Instruction Times: 07:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Includes: Lunch, Boat Hire, Certificate, Log Book, use of Safety
  Equipment.
• Cost: R500.00
